Alaska Cadastral Initiative

The Alaska Cadastral Initiative is a joint effort between the Alaska Department of Natural Resources and the Department of Interior Bureau of Land Management for improving cadastral record sharing in Alaska. Other State and Federal agencies, Boroughs, Native Corporations and private entities have also joined in this effort.

National Cadastral Data Content Standards

The Cadastral data standards are National standards for reporting and storing data. These standards are being accepted and used at all levels and locations around the nation. We are encouraging the use of these standards to faciliate effective and efficient assembly and dissemination of data. The use and recognition of standards goes a long way to making data consistent and transferrable between agencies.
